Tandem Challenge 2022

The Tandem challenge is back!!!

We have three brilliant teams taking part in this year’s tandem challenge, cycling 22,000km to represent the 22,000 people in Oxfordshire with a Visual Impairment.

Jim’s Story

“I have decided to take part in the tandem challenge to highlight the brilliant work OAB does, to highlight the 22,000 VIP in Oxfordshire and raise money to support them, and to improve my health and fitness. OAB’s tech training helped me massively whilst I was in between jobs, and having a job is so important to me as being occupied is the key to not dwelling on the limitations of being Visually Impaired.”

Could you support this year’s Tandem fundraiser?

The event will take place on the 8th of April at Horspath Road Athletics Track. We are hoping to raise at least £3,000 to support Blind and Visually Impaired adults and children in Oxfordshire. If you would like to donate and support our cyclists, please head to our JustGiving Page here

Last year the team raised over £5,000! We would absolutely love to beat that total this year, and can only do that with your support!
