Become a Member
Being a member is an ideal way for individuals to support Oxfordshire Association for the Blind. Each member also has the right to vote at our AGM, helping to shape the future of the charity.
You do not have to be a member in order to receive our help. However, having a membership scheme does make OAB stronger as an organisation and able to work more effectively – it gives us a much louder voice when campaigning on behalf of local blind and partially sighted people, for example.
Becoming a member costs just £10 annually, or £1 per month as a standing order donation. In recognition of our appreciation, all members will receive a pin badge when they join, a membership card each year and priority invitations to our events.
Life membership, at a one-off cost of £250, is the largest level of membership commitment that can be made. By becoming a life member you are making an important financial contribution to our work, investing in the future provision of opportunities for visually impaired people across Oxfordshire. All Life Members receive an exclusive gold pin badge in addition to all the benefits of being a member.
