Pub Quiz Pub Quiz

Did you know that coffee is the world’s most popular non-alcoholic drink? Or that eight people take part in the dance known as the quadrille? If you did, then not only would you be pretty useful in a pub quiz team, I think you could run one to raise money for OAB! You can charge entry for each team and give away donated prizes!

Sports Club Events Sports Club Events

If you are a member of a football team or golf club (for example), charity matches are an excellent way to raise funds.

School Events School Events

There are tons of tried and tested ways to have fun and bring in some money:

• Dress up/down day – come to school in fancy dress or not in uniform for the day and pay a pound for the privilege!
• Kids – find out if your friends are hiding their light under a bushel – hold a special 'X-Factor' competition where they get a minute to impress you with their dulcet tones!

Work Events Work Events

Have a peek at the following ideas to get you started:

• Sponsored blindfold wearing in the office
• Cook some goodies and bring them in to sell to work mates
• Office Olympics! 3-legged races in the office, etc.

Dinner Party Dinner Party

Holding a dinner party and charging an entrance fee is a sure-fire winner. If you are feeling ambitious you could even hold a raffle for donated prizes at the end!
